Goal: discuss the importance of long term vision

We are moving through life in a reactive mode. Things happen and we react. Very little of our time is spent thinking and planning.

The value of a plan is not in the plan. It is in the thinking process to generate a plan that is worth gold. Recently Rob Bollenback told me that a plan is something you consciously deviate from.

I have just placed my plan in front of you. It is pretty ambitious. It is very personal.

A plan that does not challenge you is of no value. It has to stretch you. It has to make you become a different person by achieving it.

What 10 businesses will I have to start?

Who will I become by writing 100 books?

Who will I have to become to be able to teach 1000 courses?

Who will I become by painting 10000 canvases?

Who will I have to become to attract 1000000 students?

What will I have to do to earn 10,000,000 monthly?

It is NOT your personality that should drive your goals. It is the pursuit of your goals that should shape your personality.

By pursuing big goals you have to become a different person and your personality will have to re-mold. It is not possible to achieve the goals that you set at the level you are currently.

If after just one year you are NOT a completely different person, you will not succeed.

What is your 20 year plan?

Write it below so everyone can see it. Consider what future self you will have to become to achieve it. I challenge you to be public.

I assume that some people will laugh at my 20 year plan. Why generate such an ambitious plan in your 50s? Some will say that it is not reachable. That it is a shot at the moon.

What if I only achieve half of it?

1 empire

5 businesses

50 books

500 courses

5000 paintings

500000 students

5000000 monthly revenue

THAT is pretty damn good!!!! I would take that. These are just targets. My targets that I will aim at.

If with my last breath at 104 I reach them, I will die with all of my dreams fulfilled. Counting regrets is something that most people do instead.

I got to go…my future self alarm went off
