Why Do You Go There?
…can’t help yourself
I believe that every one deserves a second chance. Mainly because we are living as if in a constant fog.
What I might believe was your true intent might simply you being absent minded. I will give you a benefit of the doubt that you were not trying to be evil.
But my forgiveness goes away after a second time you do something that I dislike. I start thinking that maybe that is your way or simply you do not care of you offend others.
The other w\day I saw a sign on a Linkedin feed that confirmed my belief. The sign urged us not to blame a clown for acting like a clown. After all if a clown clowns around once or twice you expect the clown to keep doing the same thing.
Well, most of us don’t think of the repetitive nature of the clown and sometimes blame ourselves for not seeing it earlier.
Like I said, once or twice with a warning is acceptable but the third time is not acceptable. It must be cut down and removed.
The second part of the picture asked a critical question, “ Ask yourself why you keep going to the circus?”. Yup we tend to go back for more and get offended that we get more.
That is why my twice offend you are gone rule. I am not dealing with the clown any more. Hell, I am not going to keep going to the circus to see the clown.
Elimination is hard. It is purposeful. At times very necessary and for the sanity of your mind.
Don’t waste your life with clowns. You are not running a circus. Don’t visit anyone else’s circus either. They are a time waster.
Short but sweet…
Why this particular picture of a clown?
Choosing a clown picture was tough. There are many funny looking and scary pictures of clowns. I wanted a clown that looked serious and somewhat intentional in their face feature.
